Why Sunscreen Matters in a Breakout-Prone Routine

A well-built routine does not end with cleansing or serum. Daily sunscreen helps protect skin from UV exposure that can make post-breakout marks look darker and undermine the appearance of a more even tone.

Choose a finish you can use consistently

People with oily or combination skin often avoid sunscreen because they expect a heavy or greasy feel. A lightweight texture can make daily use easier. Raunelle Aqua Shield SPF 60 uses an advanced six-filter UV system with a hydrating aqua base and a non-greasy finish.

Apply enough

Use the amount and application instructions stated on the product packaging. Cover exposed areas evenly and reapply as directed, particularly after sweating, washing or extended outdoor exposure. Applying too little can reduce real-world protection.

Pair it with the rest of the routine

In the morning, cleanse first, apply your chosen serum, allow it to settle and finish with sunscreen. If layering causes pilling, use smaller amounts, allow time between steps and avoid rubbing excessively.

Listen to your skin

Patch test before regular use. Stop use if significant irritation occurs and consult a qualified clinician for persistent concerns. Sunscreen supports daily cosmetic care; it is not a treatment for acne.
